Ep. 819 - Life Is Too Good

It’s when we can’t find something to complain about that you’ll know we have been replaced with AI.

Sometimes a person just needs mac and cheese. And now that Animales has a brick-and-mortar location, that person doesn’t have to hunt them like primitive humans, spears raised over their heads and shouting grunts of triumph. Which is good, because Dave and Evan suck with spears, and to be honest, the grunting could use a little work.

And while normally revisiting a past location is a cause for joy, the same can not always be said about one’s hometown, especially if it doesn’t suck now. Dave’s recent trip to Mystic Lake Amphitheater is bittersweet, and not just because the bands remind him of his impending death. Evan, ever the positive soul, talks up Cowboy Mouth and the charms of a downstairs fondue pot. Plus bonus Train Facts!
