Every year around this time Dave and Evan get together and exchange meat. It’s not as suggestive as it sounds (but more suggestive than you think) and really traces its origins to that man amongst men, St. Jon of Hamm. So this year’s Jon Ham(m) Christmas takes place in one of the newest places in one of the hippest parts of town, Nordeast’s own Hai Hai. In the sticky shadow of the old Deuce Deuce strip club, can the Hola Arepa team do for southeast Asian cuisine what they did for Columbian flatbreads?
