Look at em. Little plastic Hydralisk. Ain’t he so KYOOOOT??!!

Right until he leaps up and eats your face.

This week we start our GenCon coverage with a double shot of interviews, focusing on the fusion of the traditional gaming world (pen and paper, board, and card games) with the video gaming world. We talk to Jack Emmert, CCO of Cryptic Studios which is developing both the Star Trek Online and Champions Online (this one based on the classic superhero RPG). We also get to talk to Jeremy Stomberg from Fantasy Flight Games, boardgame makers extraordinaire (the card and RPG games are pretty snazy too) on what it is like to develop boardgames based on video games and vice versa.

Tracks On This Show:

MAKA FUSHIGI Adventure by Tokyo Brass Style

Let’s Get On Down by The Black Aces Of Soul & The Eyes Of Ebony

That sounds badass. You should recreate Alien Loves Predator.

Both interviews are informative and amazing actually! Nice work commander!
  • PantsCommander
Thanks Johnnie. Both were fun, but these were the shortest of the bunch. I think the rest of the features will be one interview per episode.
  • PantsCommander
Also, Jack has amazing hair. It's really a sight to behold.
  • JohnnieFlash
