Another Fancy Pants Gangsters Production! Join the YAGS crew (Mike, Courtney, Ashley and Evan) as they talk about videogaming, with a bend toward gaming news and law, along with the standard game reviews, nonsensical asides, rambling diatribes, and outright lies you’ve come to expect from The Fancy Pants Gangsters.

    GenConning!

    August 14th, 2008

Hey everyone, as you might know I’m at GenCon right now, setting up all sorts of great interviews for YAGS and generally geeking like mad. If you are around, shoot me an email and we can split a vastly overpriced soda or something. Otherwise, you can check out my feed on Twitter if you are into that kinda thing. I’m going to try to keep up on posting. Otherwise, we’ll see you next week.

No Yet Another Gaming Shows this week

    August 13th, 2008

The Pantsless Tower is vacant, its owners scattered to the four winds. A sign, dusty and faded, states limply to the world, “Be Back In 5 Minutes.”

So everyone is gone this week, doing various things like being a rockstar and conventioning. So we deeply apologize for the lack of episodes this week. Fret not, gentle listener, since while we are going many machinations are machinationing, and there are many cool announcements planned for the next week. So thanks for your patience, maybe catch up on old episodes if you joined us late, or check out The Well Fed Guide if you haven’t before. Or just play some games. That’s cool too.

Yet Another Gaming Show Episode 34 - Square Whore

    August 10th, 2008

As is becoming the norm for the Sunday shows, we start somewhere and end up somehere completely different. This week, we take a look at Square-Enix’s fan event DKS3713, complaining about the endless flogging of FF7 and the seeming lack of innovation coming out of Squeenix nowadays. We also manage to get Xbox 360 updates from Ashley, pimp a new service called Call Cole, and throw a little Rock Band talk for good measure.

    Tracks On This Show:

Circle The Square by Umbrella Bed

Final Fantasy Rap by Neally & DJ Dig Dug

Yet Another Gaming Show Episode 33 - Don’t Fear The Reaper-cussions

    August 7th, 2008

While it has only been a few weeks since we all had been together, it definately felt longer. We toss nostalgia aside like so much used tissue, however, and get on to the issues of the day, like dumb Thai kids, dumb retro gamers, dumb fitness buffs, and dumb gaming peripherals. It’s such a burden to be smarter than everyone else.

    Tracks On This Show:

Don’t Fear The Reaper by H.I.M

    LDN by Lily Allen

Yet Another Gaming Show Episode 32 - Achievement Unplanned!

    August 3rd, 2008

Yeah, this is another one of our less outlined shows, even for a Sunday. What began as a discussion about the nature of achievments ends with a series of shameless plugs, a couple game reviews, and at least one crying child.

    Speaking of shameless plugs…

Ashley’s article on the new Miyazaki film

    My new c-blog on Destructoid

The ending song for today’s show is by Courtney’s band, Sajak. It was recorded at a local college radio station in the midst of renovating thier on-air studio, so any issues you may have with audio quality are not Courtney’s fault.

    Tracks On This Show:

Bad Girls Go To Hell by Agent X & The Kill Villians

    Bombs Away! (Live) by Sajak
