In retrospect, Master Mims sounds even more like an anime character.
Alle Mims only has a few years under her belt as an anime actor, but in that time she has become one of the most sought after black voices at Funimation. Even for stuff she didn’t audition for. Starting out in Garo: Vanishing Line as Enith, Alle has since shown up as Briar in Fairy Tale, Miki in Horimiya and like a VO cobra in the background of a dozen other shows.
Alle talks with Evan about being a black actor in the anime world, how she can thank Shakespeare and Caitlin Glass for her start in the business, and what it’s like living in 3 time zones at once.
