Pants Blog
The final word on the latest in Fancy Pants Gangsters news. This is your place to find out about network happenings, host life, crock pot recipes, heretical alchemical formulae, and next week’s lottery numbers. You will not find the meaning of life nor why that stain won’t come out. Ask someone else.
January Happy Hour – Wilde Roast Cafe
As discussed in this week’s newsletter, starting in January the Final Thursday of every month will be designated by the various governing bodies as Fancy Pants Happy Hour Day. We want to get to know our fans and who really needs an excuse to go out and share a drink and a nosh with friends?
This month, we will be meeting at Wilde Roast Cafe in lovely Nordeast Minneapolis starting at 6:30 PM on January 26th. Come down and say hi to your favorite hosts, cast angry glances at your least favorite hosts, and gab with other fans and those hosts you haven’t yet formed an opinion on.
For you Facebookers, there is an event listing on our FPG community page, and we’d love to know if you are coming. This isn’t an actual happy hour (with discounts and such) but if we can guarentee a turnout maybe we can work out something with places in the future. We are always looking for suggestions for venues as well, so make sure to let us know about your favorite place.
See you all soon!

On behalf of every one of the Gangsters, we want to wish you all a happy and safe Christmas. Your continued support is what makes doing these shows so worthwhile. Thank you all.

iTunes issues partially resolved
It recently came to our attention that the iTunes links to some of our shows have been compromised, likely by the ghost of Steve Jobs himself. Luckily our proton packs were charged, and we’ve resolved most of the problems. If you are subscribed in iTunes already, you shouldn’t even have noticed the change, but new listeners can now easily find our shows on iTunes.
The Well Fed Guide To Life and Yet Another Gaming Show links are now working as expected. The Flyover Ska Show has been delisted due to Courtney’s laziness, we are working on getting it relisted. In the mean time, you can still use the FOSS RSS link in iTunes like normal. All other shows are unaffected.
Thank you to Twitter user rogXue for letting us know about this.

Share Our Pants
We are all about sharing here at Fancy Pants Gangsters. That’s one of the reasons why all our shows will be free forever. It’s why we try to go to as many conventions as we can, so we can share our shows with people. That’s also why we are doing our Holiday Sale and why we are now doing our Share The Pants project.
We know we have some of the best fans around when it comes to sharing our episodes with friends and family. Now we want to reward it. Starting today, anytime you share one of our episodes via Twitter, Facebook or Google Plus, you will be entered into a monthly drawing for a $50 giftcard from Amazon. Seriously, all you have to do to enter is share our posts. You get one entry for every episode you share, so no reason to blitz your social networks with 900 posts about this week’s Girl Germs (unless that’s your thing, in which case blitz away). We release nearly 20 episode a month right now, so that’s 20 chances to win. There will also be show specific prizes each month as well, so be sure to help support your favorite Fancy Pants Gangsters show by telling all your social connections about it.
Since we are starting in the middle of December, there is only 2 weeks for this prize, so don’t hesitate to start sharing. Thanks again from all the Gangsters.

Minneapolis Indie Expo Interviews! Listen and be enlightened!
It took a bit longer than expected, but we finally have all 4 hours of interviews done at the Minneapolis Indie Expo available for your listening pleasure. We’ve chopped them until into 9 parts of around 25 minutes each for easy consumption, and crammed the post full of links to the artists’ work. Please help support local and independant artists, be they comic, illustration or podcasting. Huge thanks to everyone we spoke to, and an extra special thanks to Sarah Morean for putting on a fantastic show.
Follow the yellow brick road (yellowness or existence of bricks may vary) for comic audio goodness.
