Blogulator Radio Episode 1 – Pilot

Welcome to very first episode of Blogulator Radio – the show that is neither about blogs nor radio. It’s about TV! We (Qualler, Chris, and Brigitte) are from The Blogulator and we appreciate your patience while we figure out how to talk on the mic (as we’re more accustomed to typing snarkily on our laptops) about television shows classic, new, and upcoming. See below for a rundown (with shortcuts!) on everything we cover on our debut here on the Fancy Pants Gangsters network.

After a brief intro featuring the inaugural appearance of our catch phrase, we start things off with a discussion regarding What’s New on the Tube (2:07), including wild praise, mild excitement, mixed opinions, and straightforward across-the-board derision of a variety of new shows including The Chicago Code, Lights Out, Perfect Couples, and Harry’s Law. Next on the docket is Development Heaven and Hell (18:30), which is a look at some shows that may or may not make it on the air and may or may not be wonderful (heaven) or dreadful (hell), but regardless, we will watch all of them at least once. Some of the future shows we fantasize about include Terra Nova, Don’t Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23, Game of Thrones, and Wonder Woman. Lastly we conduct our monthly Big Talk (30:20) that takes us through the rest of the hour and change. For our first foray into this netcasting business, we present to you The Blogulator’s Top 10 TV Shows of 2010. Yes, the listmaking from December/January is long gone by now, but we couldn’t help but want to talk about the 10 shows we love the most which are either currently on or have recently ended. Hopefully it gives you a good idea of how awesome our tastes in (scripted) television is.

Next week Qualler & Brigitte present a mini-sode and Chris will do the same the week after that, but fret not – the hour-long monthly show will return in May!

Being a modern show for modern people, we’ve got all sorts of ways to find us online. We’ve got your Facebook and your Twitter, and of course we always welcome comments or questions either in the comments below or through email at bradio@webdev2.801red.com. We also invite you to check out our non-audio version at TheBlogulator.com for more than just TV talk.
